Can we please get over politics and economics for a moment and focus on the Environment? John and Obama can now make a true commitment to change, and pledge their remaining campaign money to fixing problems, not buying ad's.

- So we are going to "spend" more money than the Iraq war, more than most of our national budgets (prior to the spend like crazy Bush administration), and more than the GDP of MOST of the nations in the world (dozens combined) all to "save" the corrupt and irreponsible pratices of a few large lenders?

- Let's see, I loan 1 dollar and in return I charge 10. I am now worth 10. You default on your loan so I'm out 1 dollar + 9 profit. The "real" cost is 1 dollar, but the "lost" profit is 9. This entire "crisis" is about over valuation.
